Introduction to TaskStream

This assignment is designed to ensure you can navigate TaskStream, add artifacts, know where to place your narratives, and request feedback.

Objective: Create a Microsoft Word document that includes the NETS standards for teachers and students. Add the performance indicators for the grade range you would like to teach. Upload to TaskStream, name, describe, and request feedback.
Instructions

Copy and paste the NETS standards for teachers and students, as well as the performance indicators for the grade range you wish to teach on your Word document.
The Word document will be posted on Taskstream (as an attachment under TPE 14) and feedback from the instructor will be requested.

Time permitting, you will also become familiar with the narrative writing structure for Taskstream.

Note: When you begin to write your narratives, give each NETS a separate topic heading and each standard a separate line to ensure teacher (me) can clearly distinguish each standard.

Welcome to Ed 422B . . .The Intersession

Okay, so while most people are out drinking spiked eggnog, we will be playing on computers in a computer lab, on a deserted college campus. . .However, this should be a fairly painless way to meet your College of Education prerequisites ;-)

This course has a shorted in-class time frame for some reason. We will meet from 6pm to 8:50 pm on Friday and from 9 am to 3 pm on Saturday. I will do my best to get everything introduced to you so that you can feel confident completing the assignments while at home.

TaskStream:
This is an important order of business to take care of early on Friday. Click on the link to TaskStream on the right and purchase a student subscription, which should cost $25 for the semester. You will have the option to buy a longer subscription will will of course be cheaper (the Costco effect), but not everyone has an excess of cash right now.
When you purchase your subscription, please enter the following codes:
Local: 6SG3BA
TPA: JF5BNH

Yes, you will need to enroll in both!!

I am hoping that those who took 422A with Russ Bird will have a blog already created. I will need the url (web address) so I can post it to our class blog roll on this blog. Please get this to me as soon as possible.
